TL;DR
Senior Associate, IT, Network Engineer (Cloud - AWS/Azure) (AWS/Azure, Network Security): Designing and managing secure, scalable hybrid networks across AWS, Azure, Cisco Meraki, and office infrastructure with an accent on high availability, cloud integration, and network security. Focus on architecting VPN and virtual network solutions, troubleshooting performance issues, automating operations, and maintaining disaster recovery and compliance.

What you will do
- Design secure, scalable, and highly available network architectures using VPNs, VPCs, virtual networks, and load balancers.
- Provision and manage cloud network resources across AWS, Azure, and Cisco Meraki, integrating cloud environments with on-premises infrastructure.
- Implement network security controls including firewalls, intrusion detection, encryption, and industry-standard compliance measures.
- Monitor performance, troubleshoot network issues, and optimize stability, availability, and efficiency.
- Manage automation, scripting, backup strategies, disaster recovery, business continuity, and network documentation.
- Collaborate with IT teams and stakeholders on incidents, maintenance, projects, and infrastructure improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in computer engineering or computer science.
- Strong hands-on experience designing and supporting network infrastructure in AWS and Azure is required.
- Professional IT experience with exposure to network and security engineering.
- Understanding of network fundamentals, protocols, and technologies including TCP/IP, VLAN, WAN, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, TLS, NAT, PAT, VPN, BGP, and OSPF.
- 3+ years of experience in an L2 IT Support capacity.
- Knowledge of switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, Layer 3 devices, and access points, specifically Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, and/or Fortinet.
- Experience implementing and administering Wi-Fi.
- Experience with Microsoft Server 2008 R2–2019, Terminal Services, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy.
- Experience with VMware vSphere 6.5+ and SAN systems.
Nice to have
- HPE 3PAR experience.
- Cisco CCNA or CCNP and/or relevant Azure or AWS accreditations, including MCSE, MCTIP, VCP, AZ-100 to AZ-104, AZ-900, AWS Practitioner, SysOps, or Solutions Architect.
- Demonstrable experience with cloud-based networking in AWS or Azure.
- ITIL certification.
