Associate IT Infrastructure Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design, deploy, operate, and improve Meraki network infrastructure across global offices using the Meraki Dashboard and APIs.
• Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, switching, VLAN, DHCP, DNS, routing, VPN, firewall, and connectivity issues; monitor network health, respond to incidents, and drive root-cause fixes.
• Manage ISP and carrier relationships, including circuit procurement, installations, renewals, SLAs, outage escalation, and performance tracking.
• Plan office network builds, moves, and refreshes with Facilities and Security, and maintain architecture diagrams, IP plans, runbooks, and SOPs.
• Administer enterprise AI platforms including Gemini Enterprise and Claude, build AI-powered automations, and evaluate new tools and vendors.
• Build script- and API-based integrations, support IT Support with complex escalations, and participate in a global on-call rotation.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in network, infrastructure, or IT engineering.
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, TLS, VPN, proxy, and firewall technologies, with proven troubleshooting skills.
• Hands-on experience managing Meraki or comparable enterprise network infrastructure.
• Experience working with ISPs and carriers, including circuit management and outage escalation.
• Hands-on experience administering or integrating enterprise AI or LLM platforms such as Gemini or Claude.
• Proficiency in Python, Bash, JavaScript, or another scripting or programming language, plus experience building against REST APIs.
• Understanding of AI data security principles, including data classification, DLP, and least privilege.
• Strong critical thinking, structured problem-solving, written and verbal communication, documentation, and teaching skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Nice to have

• Cisco Meraki certification (CMNA), CCNA, or Network+.
• Experience with SD-WAN design, multi-site network management, Cloudflare Zero Trust, DLP, or CASB tooling.
• Experience building agents or workflows with MCP, prompt engineering, or LLM APIs.
• Experience with infrastructure as code or workflow automation using Terraform, Ansible, n8n, or similar tools.
• Experience supporting SOX or similar compliance controls.
• Experience administering SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Slack, or Atlassian.
• Experience running AI adoption programs, training, or internal enablement.
