Senior Treasury Accountant

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; hybrid work environment with at least three days per week in the office. Candidates must be eligible to work in the European Union.

Base pay: EUR 3,500–3,750 gross monthly, plus annual bonus and equity grant.

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end accounting processes in Calypso and prepare accurate journal transactions for timely upload to Workday.
• Prepare and review monthly GL reconciliations in OneStream, investment roll forwards, and interest reconciliations.
• Own SOX controls and quarterly SEC reporting schedules for Treasury.
• Lead monthly close calls, review results, and identify and escalate issues throughout the close process.
• Drive improvements across Treasury accounting and reporting and provide senior-level support on Treasury accounting projects.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Technology, Operations, and global stakeholders supporting EMEA and APAC activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, combined with strong knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting.
• At least 5 years of accounting experience, including accruals and journal entries, with a strong understanding of P&L, balance sheets, and financial statements.
• Experience in a multinational corporate treasury, bank, credit institution, fund management company, or similar environment.
• Hands-on experience with a Treasury Management System, preferably Calypso, and ERP platforms such as Workday or equivalent.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and the ability to collaborate across global teams and stakeholders.
• Eligibility to work in the European Union.
• No previous unspent convictions for criminal offences under the Criminal Code of the Republic of Lithuania, except offences solely related to minor road traffic violations.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of SOX compliance and FX or hedge accounting.
• Experience with OneStream, Workiva, or equivalent reporting and reconciliation tools.
• Exposure to EMEA and/or APAC treasury or financial operations in a global, matrixed organization.
