AI Engineer (LLM Focus)

Location: Limassol, EU, Cyprus; remote. The role is open to candidates in multiple countries, with the applicable work location confirmed during recruitment.

What you will do

• Own the core intelligence of Summy AI Copilot from concept through production rollout and operation.
• Design and build robust multi-turn AI agents with complex reasoning, context retention, and autonomous actions using frameworks such as LangGraph.
• Establish LLM tracing, monitoring, and evaluation pipelines to measure quality, latency, and token costs.
• Develop the public MCP server and Agent Skills so external agents such as Claude and ChatGPT can interact with hirify.global reliably and securely.
• Iterate from simple baselines to more complex solutions using production metrics and A/B tests.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Software, Data, or ML Engineering, including 1+ year building and shipping production-grade GenAI/LLM systems.
• In-depth understanding of how LLMs work and how to extend them beyond basic text generation, including structured extraction, tool calling, and cost-aware routing.
• Hands-on experience with agentic orchestration using LangChain or LangGraph and modern LLM APIs such as Claude, Gemini, or OpenAI.
• Production-ready coding experience with microservices using Java and Dropwizard.
• Experience with cloud deployments using GCP or AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Ability to own the system from early customer discussions through production operation.

Nice to have

• Background in classical NLP, traditional MLOps, or large-scale data engineering.
• Familiarity with compliance, anti-fraud, KYC/AML, or fintech domains.
• Experience shipping production RAG systems.
