AI Engineering Enablement Expert (AI): Researching, evaluating and implementing AI tools and practices across software development and software quality assurance with an accent on large language models, AI agents, automation, governance and measurable engineering impact. Focus on prototyping AI capabilities, modernising SDLC workflows, building responsible-use standards, and guiding adoption across development and QA teams.
Location: Hybrid in Limassol or Nicosia, Cyprus, or Athens or Thessaloniki, Greece; fully remote in other eligible locations

What you will do
- Act as the AI subject-matter expert for Software Development and Software Quality Assurance.
- Research, benchmark and evaluate large language models, AI development tools, AI agents, vendors and industry practices.
- Prototype and run AI pilots across the software development lifecycle, from requirements and design through coding, testing, deployment and monitoring.
- Support adoption of AI code assistants, automated code review, AI-supported testing and intelligent CI/CD practices.
- Develop responsible AI guidance covering quality, security, data protection, intellectual property, maintainability and human oversight.
- Measure AI impact through engineering metrics, assess team maturity, and support knowledge-sharing and capability building.
Requirements
- BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 7 years of IT engineering experience, including leadership or management experience in Software Development.
- Strong knowledge of large language models, AI agents, automation platforms, prompt engineering and practical AI applications.
- Hands-on experience with AI-powered development tools, machine learning, AI solution prototyping or deployment, SDLC practices, CI/CD, DevOps and platform engineering.
- Experience with AI governance, security or intellectual property reviews, engineering metrics, maturity assessment and technology vendor evaluation.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
