Country Manager (Cryptocurrency)

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic business plan for the EU market, driving expansion, user acquisition, and revenue growth.
• Lead local operations, including marketing campaigns, industry events, and strategic partnerships.
• Increase brand awareness and user engagement through targeted marketing, social media, and community events.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders, local financial institutions, and ecosystem partners, including KOLs.
• Ensure compliance with evolving EU regulatory frameworks, including MiCA/MiCAR, MiFID, and EMI, while monitoring market and competitor developments.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Legal, and Compliance teams and lead, mentor, and support the regional team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• 10+ years of proven leadership experience in marketing, business development, or general management within tech or fintech.
• In-depth understanding of the EU crypto market, consumer behavior, and financial regulatory landscapes, including MiCA, MiFID, and EMI.
• Fluency in English and at least one additional European language, such as German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
• Established professional network within the DACH/EU crypto and fintech ecosystems.
• Exceptional communication and executive presence, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Results-oriented mindset focused on measurable business outcomes.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to dynamic market changes.

• MBA.
• Prior experience as a Country Manager or senior leader within the cryptocurrency industry.
• Hands-on marketing expertise and a strong track record of partnering with Key Opinion Leaders.
