Senior Application Specialist DX (Diagnostics)

Location: South Korea; regular travel across South Korea and up to 50% travel required

What you will do

• Deliver on-site and remote training for laboratory personnel on hirify.global molecular and cytology systems.
• Support customer onboarding, including assay setup, result interpretation, and routine instrument maintenance guidance.
• Evaluate laboratory workflows and recommend improvements using hirify.global systems.
• Support LIS and other laboratory system integration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot instrument, assay, software, and workflow issues and collaborate with Field Service Engineers on resolution.
• Provide technical, clinical, and scientific support; contribute to demonstrations, evaluations, customer visits, trade shows, product improvement, documentation, and regulatory-compliant training records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Life Sciences, Molecular Biology, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of laboratory experience, preferably in molecular diagnostics, clinical microbiology, cytology, or a related clinical laboratory environment.
• Strong technical, scientific, and application support skills, including troubleshooting of instrument, assay, software, and workflow issues.
• Ability to train laboratory personnel clearly and confidently both on-site and remotely.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Customer-focused, proactive, professional, and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Comfortable working with Sales, Service, Marketing, R&D, Field Service Engineers, and external customers.
• Willingness to travel extensively, up to 50%.
• Strong written and spoken Korean and English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Background or experience in cytology.
• Experience with automated molecular diagnostic platforms such as PCR, TMA, or similar technologies.
