Senior Solutions Architect (Public Safety and Justice)

Location: United Kingdom - Southampton. Work is required from a secure room in the Hedge End hirify.global office near Southampton, 5 days per week. Successful candidates must have been in the UK for 5 years and be eligible to obtain NPPV3 and Security Clearance.

What you will do

• Implement and support custom deployments and integrations across hirify.global product suites for clients.
• Handle non-standard configuration requests, manual database and file manipulations, and advanced system adjustments.
• Assist product teams with the successful introduction of new products and versions.
• Champion supportability and deliver preventative actions for customers.
• Work with internal teams, end users, partners, and service providers, escalating issues to management or R&D when appropriate.
• Track task effort, identify scope and effort variances, assess impact, raise issues, and apply best-practice methods and quality standards throughout project phases.

Requirements

• Experience in system or implementation engineering for complex, data-driven solutions.
• Experience with scripting, including PowerShell, .NET, C#, Java, or comparable technologies.
• Experience with REST and SOAP APIs, including interfacing with Postman or Fiddler.
• Experience handling data, including relational databases and MS SQL.
• Technical and analytical skills, including Windows Server and Windows client environments.
• Effective and respectful written and verbal communication with customers and internal departments, including listening, validating assumptions, questioning to clarify customer problems, and explaining technical information to customers with varying levels of expertise.
• Methodical troubleshooting, technical diagnosis, attention to detail, and the ability to reproduce issues in a local environment.
• Ability to multitask, manage time, prioritize, and switch between varied tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal guidance once trained, communicate with customers at all levels, solve problems, and work under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Programming experience, such as C#.
• Experience with the .NET framework.
• Experience with MS Azure cloud technologies or an equivalent platform.
• Experience in the policing or criminal justice sector within an IT environment.
