Roblox Lead Artist

Location: Remote within Europe or Asia time zones; occasional travel to Paris or Bandung.

hirify.global is a game studio focused on Roblox and Minecraft, launching new Roblox games regularly and delivering weekly updates guided by player data.

What you will do

• Create stylized 3D models and textures for real-time Roblox games, maintaining visual consistency, mobile readability, and efficient asset design.
• Create and oversee thumbnails, icons, promotional visuals, shop visuals, game-pass icons, limited items, and event screens.
• Set game-specific visual style guides and own art direction and delivery across the Roblox portfolio.
• Lead, coach, review, and develop artists in France, Vietnam, and Indonesia while coordinating workloads with producers.
• Plan seasonal content, limited items, events, and visual updates for live games.
• Manage asset budgets and performance constraints, including polygons, textures, materials, lighting, frame rate, and the Blender-to-Roblox Studio pipeline.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant game art experience with a portfolio showing shipped games and clearly describing individual contributions.
• Excellent stylized 3D modeling and texturing skills for real-time games, with attention to visual consistency and mobile readability.
• Strong composition, lighting, and rendering skills, including combining 3D assets with 2D editing for thumbnails and promotional visuals.
• Experience leading, coaching, or training artists, with the ability to give clear feedback and support team development.
• Knowledge of real-time asset workflows and performance constraints, including polygon, texture, material, and lighting budgets.
• Ability to balance quality and speed, manage priorities across projects, and improve work through feedback and data.
• Proficiency in Blender or equivalent 3D software and Photoshop or equivalent tools.
• Willingness to learn and use Roblox Studio, with curiosity about AI-assisted production.
• Fluent English and the ability to collaborate across teams and time zones.

Nice to have

• Real-time visual effects experience in Roblox, Unity, or another engine.
• Experience designing mobile game interfaces, including shop and monetization screens.
• Shipped Roblox experiences as a lead artist or artist, ideally with thumbnails, icons, and performance metrics such as visits, concurrent users, qPTR, or click-through rate.
• Experience creating UGC and avatar items.
• Based in Indonesia.
