Director, Operations (Hospitality)

Location: Hybrid, based from the Gold Coast/Coolangatta office, with regular travel across the portfolio in Australia.

What you will do

• Lead regional Operations Managers across a diverse portfolio of NRMA Parks & Resorts properties.
• Set operational direction, strengthen performance, and build leadership capability across the portfolio.
• Oversee commercial performance, guest experience, people, safety, risk, and operational delivery.
• Translate strategy into results and strengthen accountability across properties and their leaders.
• Travel regularly across the portfolio to stay connected with Operations Managers and property leaders and remove performance barriers.

Requirements

• Substantial senior leadership experience across complex, multi-site operations.
• Experience ideally within tourism, hospitality, accommodation, or another service-led environment.
• Strong commercial acumen and proven accountability for budgets, forecasting, labour, margin, and profitability.
• Ability to balance big-picture thinking with operational reality.
• Calm, credible, and people-focused leadership style.
