Logistics Operator

Location: Keilor East, Victoria, Australia; full and unrestricted working rights in Australia required.

What you will do

• Coordinate ocean import and export shipments with customers, international agents, carriers, service providers, and internal departments.
• Manage shipment files, milestones, documentation, shipping details, workflow monitors, and reporting tools.
• Track and trace shipments, follow up on delays and exceptions, and provide timely updates to customers.
• Prepare, review, and process import and export documentation while following customer and company procedures.
• Process and reconcile service provider invoices and charges accurately and promptly.
• Participate in team meetings, training, and performance reviews while supporting operational issue resolution and customer service.

Requirements

• Experience in ocean import and/or export operations within the freight forwarding industry.
• Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple shipments and tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while contributing positively to the wider team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when processing shipping information and documentation.
• Strong customer service focus, including responding to enquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining positive relationships with colleagues, customers, and service providers.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge across ocean import and export operations.
• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia.
