Technology Operations Manager (Retail Technology)

Location: Hybrid, with three days per week in the Collingwood Support Centre and two days working from home; travel to stores is required, with availability for escalations outside store trading hours.

What you will do

• Lead technology operations, service delivery, and incident management across coffeehouses and the Store Support Centre.
• Manage vendor performance, accountability, service levels, and commercial outcomes.
• Own infrastructure spanning networks, devices, Microsoft 365, and cloud services.
• Strengthen cyber security, compliance, and operational resilience.
• Support store growth by ensuring technology is scalable, reliable, and fit for purpose.
• Partner with Operations and business leaders to improve the store technology experience.

Requirements

• Senior technology operations experience in a multi-site retail or hospitality business.
• Experience challenging incumbent vendors and improving service, commercial outcomes, or both.
• Experience managing a multi-party support chain where triage and resolution are handled by different providers.
• Evidence of delivering efficiencies and return against a technology spend baseline.
• Hands-on experience with networks, end-user computing, and Microsoft 365 in a distributed store environment.
• Hands-on security operations experience, including access management, patching, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Experience with point-of-sale estates and store technology.
• Availability for escalations outside store trading hours and ability to travel to stores.
• Tertiary qualification in a technology discipline or equivalent experience.

• Exposure to Essential Eight or ISO 27001.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 security and PCI DSS.
• Experience in a fast-growing store network.
