Analyst, General Accounting (ERP/GAAP)

Location: Quezon City, Philippines; hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week onsite; night shift.

What you will do

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify cash transaction accuracy and protect organizational assets.
• Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts, verify source details, and resolve discrepancies.
• Generate reports and analyze accounts to correct mis-recordings before financial statement finalization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners on financial deliverables and maintain audit trails for supporting documents.
• Manage fixed asset accounting, including recognition, depreciation, transfers, retirements, and write-offs.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, GAAP, and Corporate Policies and Procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy or an accounting-related field.
• At least 2 years of general accounting experience, primarily in General Ledger functions, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and audit support.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and GAAP.
• Proficiency with ERP applications, including Oracle and SAP.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail, accountability, analytical ability, interpersonal skills, and adherence to established processes.
