Finance Director

What you will do

• Lead and mentor bookkeeping, FP&A, taxation, and compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting policies and practices, budgeting, plan-versus-actual analysis, and financial reporting for the group of companies.
• Maintain internal controls and lead internal audits to support compliance with financial procedures.
• Oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, statutory compliance, and tax planning and optimization.
• Manage financial aspects of mergers and acquisitions, including initial assessments, due diligence, and post-merger integration.
• Improve financial processes, systems, reporting, and communication with executives, banks, tax advisers, and external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes, and IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Experience in financial planning, analysis, and management within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with executive management and external stakeholders.
• Proactive nature, growth mindset, and self-regulation.
• Fluent English.
• Ability and desire to work collaboratively with a diverse, remote global team.
