Finance Director

Location: Warsaw, Poland; fully remote within Poland

What you will do

• Lead and mentor bookkeeping, FP&A, taxation, and compliance teams.
• Oversee accounting policies and practices, budgeting, plan-versus-actual analysis, and recommendations.
• Ensure accurate and timely financial and investment reporting for the group of companies.
• Develop and maintain internal controls, lead internal audits, and oversee tax filings, regulatory reporting, compliance, tax planning, and optimization.
• Manage financial assessments, due diligence, and post-merger integration for M&A transactions.
• Improve financial processes, systems, and reporting while advising executives and managing relationships with banks, tax advisers, and external consultants.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with financial reporting, month-end and year-end processes, and IFRS/GAAP compliance.
• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and management in a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for working with executive management and external stakeholders.
• Proactive nature, growth mindset, and self-regulation.
• Fluent English.
• Ability and desire to work collaboratively with a diverse, remote global team.
