Manufacturing Engineer (Medical Robotics)

Location: Methuen, Massachusetts, United States; onsite role with up to 5% travel

What you will do

• Provide technical support to manufacturing, identify root causes, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing procedures and equipment for medical robotic and navigation products.
• Develop and release test fixtures and assembly aids for manufacturing use.
• Prepare change orders to update released-product documentation and bills of materials.
• Draft SOPs, operation and maintenance procedures, protocols, reports, process validations, and other manufacturing documentation.
• Support quality and regulatory compliance, new product introduction, design changes, sustaining activities, continuous improvement, reliability, and cost reduction.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 2–5 years of relevant experience, or a Master’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in the medical device field and/or robotics.
• Familiarity with ISO requirements, FDA regulations, and cGMP requirements.
• Experience with data analysis and KPIs.
• Strong technical, hands-on, creative, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently and contribute effectively in small teams and a challenging, fast-paced environment.
• Excellent oral, written, and graphical communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Teams.
• Ability to travel up to 5% of the time and meet the stated physical requirements, including sitting, climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling, lifting up to 10 pounds regularly and up to 25 pounds occasionally, and possessing close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision and the ability to adjust focus.
