Company

hirify.global develops VLEO spacecraft buses, integrated satellites, and turnkey missions for sensing, communications, and responsive operations.

What you will do

  • Serve as the technical authority for spacecraft manufacturing across buses, payloads, and common hardware.
  • Develop manufacturing strategies, processes, tooling, work instructions, production readiness plans, and manufacturing systems.
  • Partner with design engineering on manufacturability, DFM/DFA, technical challenges, and hardware improvements.
  • Lead new product introduction and transition complex hardware from development builds into repeatable, scalable production.
  • Work hands-on with production technicians to troubleshoot builds, resolve nonconformance, and drive corrective actions.
  • Improve manufacturing quality, efficiency, cost, scalability, digital traceability, equipment, tooling, and infrastructure while mentoring engineering and production personnel.

Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, production engineering, or related roles supporting complex hardware, preferably in aerospace or other high-reliability industries.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience leading manufacturing engineering initiatives and establishing processes that improve production quality, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Strong hands-on experience with precision mechanical assembly, electromechanical integration, fastening, bonding, and harnessing.
  • Experience transitioning complex hardware from prototype or development builds into repeatable production.
  • Strong understanding of DFM/DFA, tooling development, manufacturing process controls, and continuous improvement.
  • Familiarity with CAD, PLM, MES, and configuration management systems.
  • Ability to define technical direction independently, anticipate manufacturing challenges, and complete complex cross-functional projects.
  • Ability to influence technical decisions, mentor engineers and technicians, build consensus, and work hands-on in a fast-paced environment.
  • This role is on-site in Broomfield, Colorado. Applicants must be a U.S. Person and must verify eligibility to work in the United States.

Culture & Benefits

  • First-principles approach, rapid execution, calculated risk-taking, and continuous learning.
