Senior DevOps Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote in Latin America

hirify.global is a Series C company building an AI growth platform for real estate used by more than 90,000 real estate professionals.

What you will do

• Build and operate a self-service infrastructure platform with secure defaults, automation, and guardrails.
• Build and operate golden paths including unified CI/CD, GitOps delivery with ArgoCD, an IaC module catalog, and service scaffolding.
• Develop reusable agent infrastructure primitives covering sandboxed runtimes, workload identity, audit trails, ownership, cost attribution, and approval gates.
• Build the validation platform with ephemeral pull-request environments, automatic teardown, security gates, performance gates, and load-testing gates.
• Make gate and test results machine-readable and callable outside the pull-request workflow.
• Create observability dashboards and operational controls, carry on-call, lead incidents through follow-up, and turn recurring toil into automation and reusable runbooks.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience in SRE, DevOps, or Platform Engineering, including production infrastructure at scale and end-to-end ownership of significant workstreams with limited oversight.
• Active use of AI development tools such as Claude Code or Codex in infrastructure workflows, including Terraform changes, Kubernetes debugging, automation, and operational investigations.
• Deep Kubernetes, including EKS, and AWS experience with IAM, VPC, ECR, SSM/Secrets Manager, S3, SQS, Lambda, and RDS/Aurora.
• Strong Infrastructure as Code experience with Terraform and GitOps experience, including PR-driven apply workflows using Atlantis or similar and ArgoCD.
• CI/CD depth with GitHub Actions, including caching, parallelism, artifact management, test reliability, and pipeline observability.
• Experience owning incidents, carrying on-call for built systems, and driving incidents from detection through follow-up.
• Excellent cross-team communication, including translating platform constraints into developer-friendly solutions and documentation.

Nice to have

• Identity, access, and policy-as-code experience with workload or service identity, SPIFFE/SPIRE, OIDC, short-lived credentials, Vault, and policy enforcement.
• Experience building self-service developer platforms, ephemeral environments, CLIs, scaffolding tools, or internal developer portals such as Backstage.
• Experience treating infrastructure as a product.
• Experience building cost attribution, budgets, or rightsizing into a platform.
