Senior Project Manager

What you will do

• Own the full lifecycle of complex, high-risk, or multi-region professional services engagements, including scope, objectives, schedules, deliverables, dependencies, resources, quality, and risks.
• Lead internal initiations, customer kickoffs, requirements and planning sessions, status meetings, steering reviews, and project closures.
• Manage project financials, forecasts, budgets, burn, margins, milestones, revenue recognition inputs, and delivery variances.
• Maintain customer and stakeholder alignment through transparent communication, governance, reporting, escalation, and decision-making.
• Coordinate Sales, Solutioning, Delivery Engineering, Product Development, Support, Customer Success, consultants, engineers, and senior leadership.
• Use project data and lessons learned to improve delivery predictability, reduce complexity and delays, and strengthen PMO practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 12+ years of progressive project or program management experience, preferably in customer-facing professional services, software, SaaS, technology, or consulting.
• Demonstrated success leading complex engagements with cross-functional teams, multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and material delivery risk.
• Experience managing project financials, forecasts, budgets, contracts, change control, and revenue-related delivery inputs.
• Experience working with senior customer and internal stakeholders at executive, business, and technical levels.
• Executive-level written, verbal, and presentation skills, along with facilitation, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Advanced project planning, scheduling, governance, dependency management, risk management, and change control skills.
• Ability to tailor delivery and governance practices to scope, complexity, risk profile, contract type, and customer needs.
• Strong professional services financial management, revenue recognition, budgeting, forecasting, performance monitoring, variance management, analysis, documentation, and follow-through skills.

Nice to have

• Project management certification such as PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2.
• Change management, cloud, IT service management, or other relevant certifications.
• Experience mentoring project managers or guiding project teams.
