Associate Director, Market Engagement - Vaccines & ID (Flu)

Location: Upper Gwynedd, Pennsylvania, United States; hybrid with at least 3 days per week in the office. The role supports US and global stakeholders. No relocation; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $156,900–$247,000 per year, plus potential annual bonus and long-term incentive.

What you will do

• Partner with US and global marketing teams to align analytics and insights with brand, portfolio, and business priorities.
• Translate stakeholder questions and business needs into structured analytical use cases and prioritize demand.
• Analyze claims, EMR/EHR, registry, CDC, IQVIA, digital, and CRM data to generate actionable commercial insights.
• Propose analytical approaches and support the design, development, and refinement of AI, machine learning, NLP, modeling, and Agentic AI solutions.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and onshore/offshore DHH teams to deliver high-quality, timely, compliant solutions.
• Synthesize findings into concise stories and visualizations and present recommendations to senior and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Decision Science, Marketing, Engineering, or Public Health.
• 5+ years of analytics or data science experience in pharma, biotech, or healthcare; vaccines experience is preferred.
• Proven experience applying advanced statistics, AI, machine learning, NLP, and Agentic AI to commercial business problems.
• Proficiency in Python, R Studio, SAS, SQL, or similar tools for data extraction, feature engineering, and model development.
• Strong experience with patient-level and healthcare data, including claims, EMR/EHR, registries, CDC, IQVIA, and other secondary sources.
• Ability to translate business needs into analytical questions and data-driven recommendations, support products across development, launch, growth, maturity, and end-of-life stages, and manage multiple concurrent initiatives and teams.
• Strong communication, data storytelling, stakeholder management, influencing, project management, adaptability, curiosity, and learning skills in a matrixed cross-functional environment.
• Ability to connect technical partners and orchestrate work across DHH teams.

Nice to have

• MBA, MS, or PhD.
• Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR, claims, and IQVIA data offerings.
• Knowledge of the vaccines business.
• Expertise in global life sciences analytics, ex-US datasets, market research, forecasting support, desk research triangulation, global market analogs, and competitive intelligence.
