Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SaaS)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.
• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters and related tooling for highly available and scalable services.
• Improve observability through metrics, tracing, logging, monitoring, and alerting.
• Automate operational work and build scalable Python tooling to reduce toil and accelerate development.
• Improve CI/CD adoption and delivery speed, reliability, and security.
• Lead the Internal Developer Platform and define SLOs, SLIs, error budgets, and incident response practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability, Platform Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code, especially Terraform.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including Helm, Kustomize, operators, and cluster-level debugging.
• Strong understanding of observability principles and tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or Datadog.
• Proficiency in Python for scripting, automation, and tooling.
• Practical experience with CI/CD systems such as GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Octopus Deploy, or ArgoCD.
• Experience building or supporting Internal Developer Platforms or developer self-service tools.
• Familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure; AWS is preferred.
• Comfort working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with Django for database migrations.
• Experience with service meshes such as Istio or Linkerd.
• Knowledge of security best practices in cloud-native environments.
• Previous contributions to open-source infrastructure projects.
• Database troubleshooting and administration skills.
