Gross Profit Analyst

Location: Hybrid, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco, Mexico

What you will do

• Audit billing, asset, supplier reconciliation, and rebate reports to identify profit leaks and margin opportunities.
• Provide margin adjustments, recommend recovery solutions, and drive recovery actions with internal departments and suppliers.
• Execute supplier contract rights for obsolescence and products removed from price lists.
• Monitor ship-and-debit claim rejects and escalate issues to the gross profit administration team.
• Analyze customer volume purchase agreements and provide recommendations to business teams.
• Monitor supplier bonus programs, forecast rebate performance, perform variance analysis, prepare margin adjustment reports, and reconcile month-end numbers.

Requirements

• Typically less than 2 years of experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience providing comparable knowledge and job skills.
• Foundational knowledge of specialized disciplines, industry practices, and standards acquired through academic instruction and/or relevant work experience.
• Ability to develop solutions to defined tasks using specialized foundational knowledge and existing approaches.
• Ability to work independently, exercise judgment and discretion, and collaborate with management and team members.
