Caava Group is seeking an Entry-Level Backend Engineer to join its Group Technology team and work on Evolve, an insurance management platform used by AIICO. The successful candidate will help build, test, and maintain backend services while learning from experienced engineers.
Tech Stack
• Java
• Spring Boot
• REST APIs
• SQL
• Git
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain backend features and fix software bugs.
• Develop and update REST APIs and SQL queries.
• Support data validation, error handling, and data consistency.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers, QA, and product teams.
• Investigate software issues, document findings, and escalate complex problems.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and release support.
• Maintain API documentation and follow secure coding practices.
Requirements
• Entry-level candidates with internship, academic, or personal project experience are encouraged to apply.
