SAP FI/CO Management Accounting Consultant

Location: São Paulo; availability to work within the Mexico or Brazil time zone.

What you will do

• Act as the functional reference for Management Accounting within the AMS team.
• Support manufacturing, distribution, transportation, administrative overhead, COGS, and forecasting costing processes.
• Manage FI/CO period-end closing, reconciliations, data checks, reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis.
• Manage incidents, service requests, enhancements, functional specifications, integrated testing, and UAT across SAP FI/CO.
• Investigate data inconsistencies, recommend corrections, and coordinate process and configuration changes with technical teams.
• Support Finance, Controlling, Operations, and business users while standardizing Management Accounting services across the AMS zone.

Requirements

• Proven SAP FI/CO experience with a clear focus on CO and Management Accounting.
• Hands-on experience in several of CO-OM, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, and allocation cycles; CO-PA and profitability analysis; Material Ledger; Result Analysis; FI/CO integration with MM, SD, and PP; production costs, inventory valuation, and COGS.
• Experience with FI/CO period-end closing, including cost, expense, and margin variance analysis.
• Previous experience in AMS, Managed Services, or SAP functional support.
• Experience managing incidents, enhancements, functional specifications, testing, and UAT.
• Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, or a related field, with a strong background in finance and cost accounting.
• Fluent English and Spanish.
• Availability to work within the Mexico or Brazil time zone.
• Ability to lead Management Accounting topics from a functional perspective, communicate clearly with business and IT stakeholders, analyze data quality, meet closing deadlines, and work in a multicultural environment with distributed teams.
