Capital Formation Lead (Crypto)

Location: United States, Canada, Cayman Islands, or Singapore. Remote work is offered, but all new hires must complete an in-person onboarding process with no exceptions.

What you will do

• Structure, price, execute, and manage bespoke credit facilities, including margin lending, delayed settlement transactions, and collateralized loan agreements using BTC, ETH, and other digital assets.
• Develop credit structures, agreements, documentation, operational runbooks, and funding facilities across CeFi and DeFi.
• Originate solutions for client needs, negotiate and close legal contracts, and drive revenue growth for the Prime Financing business.
• Collaborate with sales, risk, legal, operations, compliance, and business teams to qualify and structure credit opportunities.
• Move and track collateral across venues and business lines to optimize utilization, yield, and funding.
• Build external funding partner relationships and analyze risk levels and market trends to identify improvements.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in credit trading and/or financial products structuring. Experience at a tier 1 investment bank is strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of crypto markets, especially crypto financing. Experience in lending or a related role at a top crypto platform is strongly preferred.
• Experience structuring and developing complex financial products for large institutions and startups.
• Strong familiarity with legal and regulatory requirements for US financial products.
• Experience building cross-functional partnerships with legal, operations, compliance, sales, and business teams.
• Collaborative, team-oriented mindset, entrepreneurial drive, creativity, and initiative.
• Strong risk management expertise, including developing processes and control frameworks for sustainable, risk-managed growth.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized working style.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Ability to write Bash or Python scripts to automate manual processes and familiarity with Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Law degree and/or an advanced degree in Financial Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
• Up-to-date knowledge of crypto derivatives strategies and the DeFi ecosystem.
• Tier 1 investment bank experience.
• Experience at a top crypto platform in lending or a related role.
