Claims Adjuster - Professional Indemnity

Location: Leeds, United Kingdom; hybrid. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available. Short-term remote work abroad may be requested for up to 20 days per year from certain locations.

Claims values up to £500,000.

What you will do

• Manage a dedicated caseload of multinational Professional Indemnity and Errors & Omissions claims, primarily for large global law firms and international construction consultancies.
• Assess, validate, negotiate, and resolve claims up to £500,000 in line with internal and regulatory standards.
• Act as the Multinational team subject matter expert and support the Financial & Specialty Markets Complex Claims team with complex PI/E&O queries.
• Oversee claims managed by international local offices and collaborate with customers, colleagues, and global stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate claim records, identify risks, escalate issues, and meet service, quality, and customer experience standards.
• Share best practices, coach colleagues, contribute to training and continuous improvement, and gradually take on claims from additional lines of business.

Requirements

• Understanding of Professional Indemnity / Errors & Omissions claims and confidence applying this expertise in day-to-day decision-making.
• Ability to support colleagues’ learning and guide others.
• Investigation, negotiation, analytical, relationship management, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, manage workload effectively, and handle new challenges.
• Ability to handle data and create reports.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.
