Project Engineering Manager (AI Data Centers)

Location: Henrico, Virginia, United States; onsite role with 20% travel.

Salary: $95,000–$130,600 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Coordinate project technical planning, design, and execution across Sales, Engineering, Production, and Project Management.
• Support tender submissions by ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations and preparing specification and technical submittals.
• Work with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to develop and review deliverable designs.
• Prepare project-specific design calculations and review O&M manuals and training materials.
• Support manufacturing, assembly, testing, vendor calls, onsite delivery, and commissioning activities.
• Act as the technical point of contact for live projects and assist Quality with root-cause analysis reporting.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience plus 1–2 years of experience leading people.
• Experience with LV/MV switchgear, control panels, and electrical distribution systems.
• Strong understanding of single-line diagrams, protection devices, and electrical design principles.
• Working knowledge of UL standards for switchgear and control gear assemblies.
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and produce accurate engineering documentation.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with people at all levels.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
