Test Automation Engineer

What you will do

• Develop and execute functional automated and manual tests within a multi-skilled Agile team.
• Support delivery of application software that meets user needs.
• Work with colleagues while learning and applying new technologies and testing approaches.

Requirements

• Experience in software testing, including automation or hybrid QA roles.
• Proficiency in Java programming fundamentals and experience with Playwright for functional and regression testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Basic understanding of version control systems such as Git.
• Exposure to API testing with tools such as Postman or REST Assured.
• Basic knowledge of test frameworks such as TestNG or JUnit.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience using defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or Zephyr.

Nice to have

• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to cross-browser and responsive UI validation.
• Familiarity with enterprise-level web platforms.
• Participation in sprint planning, story refinement, and QA estimation.
• Ownership of test planning and execution for assigned features.
• Ability to provide clear, actionable test results and defect reports.
• Contribution to continuous improvement in testing processes.
• Familiarity with maintaining test frameworks, environments, and reporting tools.
