What you will do

• Configure, install, maintain, and optimize database management systems.
• Manage user access and implement security policies to protect data from unauthorized access and external threats.
• Conduct capacity planning and growth projections based on system usage.
• Coordinate database project plans with various teams and propose enhancements to improve system performance and reliability.
• Develop backup and recovery plans to protect systems from failures.
• Support end users and application developers in resolving complex database-related problems.

Requirements

• Experience implementing and managing Microsoft Windows Server 2016.
• Experience with VMware ESXi.
• Experience managing public and private clouds, especially migrations from on-premises environments to the cloud.

Nice to have

• Automation experience, especially with Infrastructure as a Service.
• Vulnerability management experience.
• On-premises AD FS with Microsoft Active Directory and/or Azure AD experience.
