Virtualization Engineer (VMware)

What you will do

• Deploy and configure VMware ESXi hypervisors, vCenter servers, virtual machines, virtual networking, and storage resources.
• Provision, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize virtual servers to maintain performance, reliability, and availability.
• Apply virtualization security practices, including access controls, encryption, and intrusion detection.
• Perform software updates, patches, and upgrades across virtualization platforms, operating systems, and applications.
• Develop PowerShell, Bash, and other automation scripts to streamline infrastructure operations.
• Diagnose infrastructure, networking, performance, and system failures; collaborate with IT, network, systems, and security teams and participate in on-call support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Knowledge of multiple operating systems, hardware, storage management, TCP/IP, and network monitoring tools.
• Analytical, problem-solving, installation, and maintenance skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Availability for rotating 24x7 on-call and occasional weekend support.
