Production Support Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Huntsville, Alabama, USA; onsite production and manufacturing environment.

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional product development and manufacturing engineering programs from concept through production, managing cost, quality, schedule, performance, reliability, and operational objectives.
• Direct programs using the hirify.global Development Process and hirify.global Production System, ensuring requirements, deliverables, milestones, and business objectives are achieved.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and team assignments while coordinating issue resolution across Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, Product Management, and suppliers.
• Provide technical leadership in troubleshooting manufacturing and product issues, conducting root cause analysis, implementing corrective actions, and developing sustainable solutions for production and field concerns.
• Develop manufacturable, cost-effective product and process solutions, including new product features, technologies, and improved manufacturing methods.
• Drive manufacturing efficiency and continuous improvement through process optimization, technology implementation, structured problem solving, Lean principles, documentation, training, and implementation of new products and processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years of program leadership or engineering project/design leadership experience in a similar industry.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to influence others and build effective working relationships with managers, leaders, staff, and cross-functional partners.
• Strong project planning, organization, and administrative skills, including an understanding of how program objectives, tools, and resources relate across functions.
• Ability to make decisions and take action while maintaining a focus on quality and customer needs.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Riding experience and/or interest in recreational vehicles.
