Engineering Intern - Test Engineering (Summer 2027)

Location: Hybrid in Greensboro, North Carolina, United States.

Hourly rate: $23/hour for sophomores, $24/hour for juniors, and $27/hour for seniors and master's students.

What you will do

• Assist with designing, developing, and executing test plans for products, subsystems, and test fixtures.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and data-collection tools using Python or similar tools.
• Set up and use oscilloscopes, power supplies, DMMs, DAQ systems, environmental chambers, and other laboratory test equipment.
• Collect, analyze, and summarize test data to identify trends, verify requirements, and support engineering decisions.
• Troubleshoot test failures and collaborate with Test, Design, Manufacturing, and QA/Reliability teams on root-cause analysis.
• Document procedures, results, lessons learned, and recommendations, then present a final project report with results and next steps.

Requirements

• Current student pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Familiarity with engineering test methods, data analysis, Python programming, and basic statistics.
