Facilities Manager

What you will do

• Manage day-to-day data center facility operations, including electrical, mechanical, building, and other MEP systems.
• Own preventive and corrective maintenance programs, repairs, upgrades, and infrastructure expansion to maintain availability and operational continuity.
• Lead data center operations against uptime, reliability, and SLA targets; manage critical incidents, troubleshooting, recovery, root cause analysis, and preventive actions.
• Manage white space, rack layouts, capacity plans, equipment inventories, DCIM records, and audits of power, cooling, and space utilization.
• Lead construction, fit-out, infrastructure upgrade, automation, sustainability, and efficiency projects while maintaining current AutoCAD/PDF as-built documentation.
• Manage vendors, contractors, Permit-to-Work processes, budgets, assets, compliance programs, and facilities and technical teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related engineering.
• 8–12+ years of experience in data center facilities or critical environment operations.
• Strong experience with MEP systems in mission-critical facilities.
• Strong experience with data center infrastructure and white space management.
• Strong experience with incident management, root cause analysis, and maintenance programs.
• Ability to lead, mentor, and develop facilities, operations, and technical teams, including training on operational procedures, safety, and infrastructure management.
• Ability to manage third-party contractors, vendors, service providers, stakeholders, operational budgets, CAPEX/OPEX, and cost optimization.
• Ability to ensure compliance with US regulatory standards, safety codes, data center certifications, HSE programs, fire drills, emergency preparedness requirements, Uptime Institute standards, and operational best practices.
