Technical Support Expert

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid work with 3 days per week working from home.

What you will do

• Monitor preNABS internal processes and ticketing solutions.
• Create local applications and software, provide support, and implement new features in existing applications.
• Document and comment on code, rewrite and improve existing code, and improve coding style.
• Execute operational tasks and perform quality assurance of data entry and production data.
• Script dialogs for ScanPlus and hirify.global Shopper applications.
• Maintain dataflows and evaluate new software developments and best-practice methodologies for use in deliverables.

Requirements

• Basic programming skills, object-oriented design knowledge, understanding of data-structure algorithms, and analytical thinking.
• Minimum experience with SQL databases.
• Working knowledge of software version control, preferably Git.
• Good spoken and written English for official communication, ticket resolution, and software or process documentation.
• Teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive, creative, and problem-solving approach and the ability to find customized solutions for team needs.
• Curiosity and a proactive approach to learning at work.
• Interest in technology trends and efficient best-practice methodologies for the technologies used.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of non-SQL databases.
• Experience with Atlassian tools, including Jira and Confluence.
