Creative Design Team Lead (AI & Performance Marketing)

What you will do

• Lead, mentor, and scale an AI-driven Creative Design team from 3 to 6 people.
• Own production flow, task distribution, capacity planning, quality control, and delivery deadlines.
• Set creative direction through concepts, hooks, visual angles, trend analysis, and competitor research.
• Build the creative testing loop by tracking winners, analyzing failures, and converting performance data into new iterations.
• Track AI models and tools, run R&D, and build prompt and style libraries for consistent quality.
• Collaborate with Creative Producers, Marketers, Copywriters, Media Buyers, Video Editors, and the Generative AI Pipeline Engineer on strategy, workflows, automation, and bottlenecks.

Requirements

• 5+ years of leadership experience managing creative or design teams in digital marketing.
• Ability to build clear processes, guide a team, resolve conflicts, remain proactive, and stay open to new ideas.
• Strong project management skills, including quality control, organization, and delivery against strict deadlines.
• Strong visual craft in composition, lighting, color, typography, and anatomy, with the ability to explain why a creative works or fails.
• Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, including connecting AI outputs with traditional design pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with modern AI image platforms such as Figma Weave, Higgsfield, Magnific, Runway, or similar; ability to create photorealistic visuals, select suitable tools, and identify and fix artifacts.
• Solid understanding of static ad creatives for Google, Meta, and other paid media channels, including how creative decisions affect CTR, CPA, and conversion rate.
• Fluent spoken and written English.

Nice to have

• Portfolio of performance marketing creatives and AI-generated photorealistic work, ideally showing work shipped under the candidate's leadership and its results.
• Experience creating creatives for high-CPA verticals such as home improvement, insurance, health, legal, finance, or similar.
• Experience creating visuals for North American audiences and understanding what looks native to US consumers.
• Understanding of how static visuals feed video production pipelines.
