Software Engineer IV (QA Automation)

What you will do

• Design and implement advanced, scalable frameworks to validate software functionality and performance across multiple platforms.
• Develop and lead testing strategies for complex applications, covering multiple testing types and platforms.
• Lead and mentor junior and mid-level team members on test automation, methodologies, and best practices.
• Collaborate with software developers and internal teams to identify requirements, risks, defects, and system issues.
• Enhance automated testing, test environments, data analytics, and reporting in collaboration with DevOps teams and CI/CD pipelines.
• Evaluate testing tools and technologies, participate in the full software development lifecycle, and use approved AI-assisted tools for coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and technical research while validating their security, privacy, quality, and accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Seven or more years of experience, including proven experience as a Senior Software Development Engineer or in a similar role.
• Expertise in automated testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, JUnit, Cucumber, and BDD.
• Expertise in mobile, API, and database testing.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment processes, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, including Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript, with the ability to design and build automation frameworks.
• Extensive knowledge of software QA, development, and testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Familiarity with agile frameworks and regression testing, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication, and collaborative teamwork.
• Proven leadership skills to lead junior and mid-level team members.
