Thesis - Intelligent Automatic Audio Adjustment (Audio)

Location: Lund, Sweden; on-site. Open only to students affiliated with a Swedish University/College, directly or through an exchange program.

What you will do

• Investigate methods for using video-based scene information to anticipate changes in background noise.
• Develop or evaluate approaches for proactive automatic audio adjustment.
• Explore whether information from multiple nearby devices or different sensors can improve noise-level predictions.
• Adjust audio smoothly while maintaining speech intelligibility during calls.

Requirements

• Be a Master or Bachelor student in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Be affiliated with a Swedish University/College, either directly or through an exchange program.
• The scope is intended for 1–2 Master students or 2 Bachelor students.
• Attach a CV and University/College grade summary.
