Programme Performance Manager, Apprenticeship Units

Location: Hybrid, UK, with some travel to client sites for in-person delivery. Applicants must be currently based in the UK and hold the legal right to work there.

What you will do

• Own the delivery lifecycle for apprenticeship cohorts, confirming facilitator allocation, schedules, learner enrolment and signed training plans before delivery.
• Set delivery standards, lead and support the Facilitator team, manage capacity, and act as the escalation point for learner and client issues.
• Monitor attendance, delivery hours, skills tests, feedback, completion evidence and withdrawals across concurrent cohorts.
• Secure training-plan sign-off, maintain accurate learner records and work with Compliance to maximise funding claims.
• Review learner and Facilitator feedback, identify recurring issues, and improve content, format, logistics and operational processes with Product, Systems and other teams.
• Collaborate across Operations, Product, Sales, Tech and Compliance to deliver client value, capture ROI and produce Cohort Impact statements.

Requirements

• Experience line-managing delivery staff such as trainers, coaches or mentors, including performance and workload management.
• Experience running many concurrent programmes, cohorts or projects to fixed deadlines without dropping detail.
• Understanding of funded training in England, including what good delivery evidence looks like.
• A systems mindset, with experience building processes with systems and obtaining the data the business needs.
• Experience using feedback and data to drive improvements and working across teams to implement changes.
• Confidence working with employer and learner stakeholders, including handling escalations and complaints.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering short courses, bootcamps or apprenticeships.
• Familiarity with Ofsted’s further education and skills inspection approach.
• Interest in data and AI sufficient to credibly lead technical Facilitators.
• Experience using AI tools to automate administration and reporting.
