Operational Excellence Professional (Manufacturing)

Location: Hybrid in Jundiaí, São Paulo, Brazil; willingness to travel around 20% is required.

What you will do

• Support transformer factories with lean methodology and continuous improvement initiatives focused on profitable growth, productivity, efficiency, lead-time reduction, and cost reduction.
• Define project scopes, goals, deliverables, plans, and schedules for operational excellence projects.
• Facilitate best-practice exchange and operational excellence implementation across factories.
• Develop and implement standard operating methods, optimize value streams, and monitor operational excellence indicators.
• Educate, train, and coach factory colleagues on improvement methods.
• Coordinate and independently manage special projects with project teams, sponsors, clusters, and organizational entities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or a similar field, with several years of relevant professional experience.
• Profound knowledge of project execution, production, and logistics.
• Lean competence or Six Sigma certification, together with strong analytical and problem-solving skills for creative, data-driven solutions.
• Leadership and management skills, with proven ability to lead projects, teams, and multi-department workshops.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
• Good understanding of financial reporting and using data for decision-making.
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, task prioritization, initiative, and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative attitude and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
