Additive Manufacturing Internship, Spring 2027

Location: Billund, Denmark; 37 hours per week with required presence in the Billund office. Hybrid work may be available for up to two days per week from home.

hirify.global develops products and manufacturing technologies, with this team focused on polymer additive manufacturing for large-scale production.

What you will do

• Work with the Additive Design & Manufacturing team for 4–6 months, ideally 6 months.
• Support the development and maturation of additive manufacturing technologies for large-scale production.
• Drive specific product-team tasks, including Design of Experiments.
• Operate and experiment with additive manufacturing machines across multiple AM technologies.
• Improve quality and deliver additive manufacturing solutions.
• Share knowledge, experience, and results with stakeholders and specialists while participating in team meetings and events.

Requirements

• Currently studying engineering in mechanical, design, production, or a similar field, with enrollment in an educational program that provides academic credit for an internship during the internship period.
• Available for the internship from February 2026 to July 2026.
• Proficient in written and spoken English.
• Able to work 37 hours per week and be present in the Billund office.
• Passion for quality evaluation and improvement.
• Ability to adapt to new situations, learn quickly, think creatively, work in a group, communicate clearly, and demonstrate results.

Nice to have

• Previous additive manufacturing experience.
• Experience using SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Inventor, or a similar CAD or design tool.
• Experience with Design of Experiments.
• Experience with statistics, data analysis, or data visualization.
• Coding skills in Python, C++, C#, or similar.
