AI Quality & Evaluation Intern

Location: Bordeaux, France; on-site role with a hybrid work environment including 2 remote days per week, 1 remote work week per quarter, and 3 flex days.

Salary: €1,100–€1,200 per month, depending on study level.

What you will do

• Monitor and improve quality monitors and scorecards for Fin, covering accuracy, policy compliance, connector use, escalation quality, tone, hallucinations, and unsupported claims.
• Review flagged and unflagged customer conversations to identify false positives, false negatives, recurring defects, and root causes.
• Prepare weekly quality reviews summarizing findings, risks, and root causes.
• Analyze Fin’s performance across markets, languages, use cases, and rollout phases, including handovers to human agents and customer satisfaction signals.
• Track corrective actions, owners, and validation status while improving documentation and versioning of the evaluation framework.
• Share actionable feedback with product, engineering, content, and data teams.

Requirements

• Currently completing a Master 2 degree in Data Science, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, or another engineering discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort working with data and investigating anomalies.
• Interest in generative AI, machine learning, or LLM evaluation.
• Ability to structure and communicate findings clearly in English.
• Curiosity, attention to detail, pragmatism, and comfort investigating ambiguous problems.
• Ability to distinguish facts, hypotheses, and open questions.
• Availability for a full-time, 6-month internship starting in January 2027, working 35 hours per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with LLM evaluation, prompt evaluation, conversational AI, or human-in-the-loop systems.
• French language skills; French is helpful but not required.
