C++ Software Engineer

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain software applications primarily using C++.
• Develop data transformation and communication solutions for complex system environments.
• Contribute to software architecture, technical decisions, requirements analysis, and concept development.
• Develop and execute test cases, support integration, debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Create technical documentation and participate in code reviews, software quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams across the full software development lifecycle.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in C++ software development.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or another relevant field.
• Understanding of software architecture and object-oriented design principles.
• Experience across the full software development lifecycle.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with software testing and debugging.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional and international teams.
• Working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to pass security vetting under applicable security-protection regulations; additional citizenship obligations may apply for positions requiring security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience with C, Python, or other scripting languages.
• Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development team.
• Experience with Linux development environments.
• Knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Experience building APIs and knowledge of REST API best practices.
• Experience with embedded systems development.
