Test Team Lead (Financial Services)

Location: Krakow, Poland. Hybrid model: 3 days per week in the office; 2 days in the office for a parent of a child up to 4 years old.

What you will do

• Coordinate and participate in creating and executing test plans, test strategies, test scripts, and test scenarios.
• Approve test-script and test-scenario scope to verify business functionality, technology, industry standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare or ensure the availability of test data and environments.
• Execute test scripts in accordance with standards and quality controls.
• Complete test-execution documentation and records and provide test summary reporting.
• Participate in problem-solving, test-design and test-procedure walkthroughs, audit inspections, and testing-process improvements.

Requirements

• Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
• 3–5 years of related software-testing experience.
• Understanding of testing phases and the differences between integration testing and user acceptance testing.
• Working knowledge of Windows-based applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, as well as Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence.
• Analytical, attention-to-detail, and problem-solving skills for assessing information through research and analysis.
• Ability to quickly learn job responsibilities, new business knowledge, and technical information.
• Willingness to take ownership of assigned work and issues and to escalate when appropriate.
• Ability to recognize personal strengths and limitations, pursue development activities, and seek assistance when needed.
