Incident Response Senior Consultant (Cybersecurity)

Location: Remote in the United Kingdom, Spain, or Ireland.

What you will do

• Serve as part of the technical team on incident response engagements.
• Develop and use methods to hunt for bad actors across large datasets.
• Conduct intrusion investigations under project leadership and outside counsel.
• Perform host- and network-based forensics across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
• Produce written and verbal reports, presentations, recommendations, and findings for customer management, regulators, and legal counsel.

Requirements

• Knowledge of or experience in one or more of the following: incident response investigations involving targeted threats such as nation-state actors, e-crime, and hacktivists; computer forensic analysis; network forensic analysis; reverse engineering and static or dynamic malware analysis; incident remediation; secure network architecture and network operations; or cloud incident response using AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, network analysis tools such as Bro/Zeek or Suricata, and associated network logs, where applicable.
• Ability to communicate executive-level and detailed findings to clients and communicate tasks, guidance, and methodology to internal teams.
• Proven experience using AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
• Ability to complete technical tasks with limited supervision.
• Desire to grow and expand technical and soft skills.
• Ability to foster a positive work environment and attitude.
• Advanced degrees are not required. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Math, Information Security, Information Assurance, Information Security Management, Cybersecurity, Cybersecurity Policy, or a related discipline is likely for candidates with an academic background; relevant work experience or training may be considered instead.
