Systems Engineer (Enterprise Applications Support)

Location: Remote, based in Latvia; Riga, Latvia

What you will do

• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for off-the-shelf software packages, enterprise applications, and software platforms.
• Install Tier 3 and selected Tier 4 information systems, specialized systems, and client-provided IT equipment.
• Conduct user training and provide ongoing support for specialized systems and project-specific equipment.
• Monitor software updates and releases, recommending migrations and purchases where appropriate.
• Update the validation status of information systems subject to CFR 21 Part 11 requirements.
• Conduct technical audits to verify compliance with PSI standards for specialized equipment and Tier 3–4 systems.

Requirements

• University or college degree in Computer Science or IT.
• Solid technical background and experience supporting business applications, software platforms, or enterprise systems.
• Experience creating SQL queries.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability and willingness to work in a service-oriented, customer-focused environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in systems analysis.
• Experience with Jira Service Desk and Confluence or similar products.
• Experience in systems development and systems validation.
• Testing experience, including preparing test cases and executing test scripts.
