TL;DR
AV Engineer (AV/UC): Designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise AV, collaboration, videoconferencing, event, trading floor communication, and digital signage systems in a financial environment with an accent on complex space design, project delivery, and operational scaling. Focus on managing large-scale AV infrastructure, coordinating expansion projects, supporting live events, and solving technical challenges across meeting rooms, auditoriums, and regional offices.

What you will do

  • Design, implement, maintain, and support AV systems, collaboration platforms, videoconferencing services, and AV/UC infrastructure.
  • Support complex event spaces, meeting rooms, trading floor communication systems, live events, and digital signage/IPTV networks.
  • Develop AV design standards for new and expanding spaces and coordinate infrastructure requirements with Technology and Infrastructure teams.
  • Own project delivery from concept through client handover, including vendor coordination, MSP contract management, and expansion projects.
  • Provide technical production, field installation, troubleshooting, and in-person or remote end-user support using tools such as Zoom and Webex.
  • Help develop regional AV/UC operations and systems with a strategic perspective.

Requirements

  • Deep, broad understanding of enterprise AV, including control systems, DSPs, AVoIP, AoIP, digital signage/IPTV, and Cisco video conferencing solutions.
  • Experience designing and supporting AV-heavy meeting rooms, classrooms, auditoriums or lecture halls, and recreation spaces.
  • Experience scaling AV and operational processes and systems within an enterprise environment.
  • Track record of managing multiple projects with competing priorities and delivering projects from concept phase to client handover.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Jira and Autodesk Forma.
  • Familiarity with general contractor-led and design-build projects, including holding vendors accountable to performance standards on large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of networking fundamentals, including VLANs, subnetting, and basic routing.
  • Ability to present technical concepts to engineers and business stakeholders and use data and industry insights to support strategy.
  • Fluent English and willingness and ability to travel to other offices as needed.
