Lead Inventory Coordinator (Aerospace)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Space Structures Complex in Middle River, Maryland, United States. Candidates seeking to work in US offices must be eligible to work with ITAR-regulated technology.

Salary: $30–$36 USD per hour. Base salary varies based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.

What you will do

• Monitor open and rush orders, support inbound and outbound logistics, and ensure timely delivery of components and production kits.
• Coordinate daily and weekly kitting resources to achieve throughput, DIFOT, and customer-service targets.
• Provide daily direction to Store Persons and act as the first escalation point for kitting-related issues.
• Liaise with Production assembly Team Leads, other hirify.global sites, Logistics teams, and the internal Workshop on parts, rework orders, and transfers.
• Maintain stock-point accuracy, cycle-counting programs, FIFO rotation, and accurate ERP records while investigating discrepancies.
• Drive continuous improvements, maintain SOPs and document-management compliance, and ensure warehouse housekeeping, PPE, health, and safety requirements are followed.

Requirements

• 6+ years of Inventory or Supply Chain experience and a High School Diploma.
• Experience working independently on a wide range of complex duties under general supervisory guidance.
• Exposure to international shipping regulations, including International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
• Knowledge of International Air Transportation Association (IATA) and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) requirements.
• Strong IT knowledge and comfort working with Windows.
• Experience working with a fully integrated Enterprise Resource Planning system.

• Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or High School Diploma.
• Experience managing 3–6 direct reports.
• Experience in aerospace, automotive, or other heavy manufacturing.
• Experience in a high-paced, rapid-growth environment.
