Equity Analyst & Reporter (CNBC)

Location: Hybrid in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States; generally contributing from the office at least three days per week. Unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required.

Salary: USD 100,000–125,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Identify compelling investment opportunities through deep research, analysis of company financials, and evaluation of market trends.
• Interview analysts, investors, industry leaders, and C-suite executives to gather firsthand insights.
• Analyze balance sheets, income statements, valuation metrics, company fundamentals, and the effects of technology, regulation, and the economy.
• Develop well-sourced research and collaborate with analysts on coordinated analysis.
• Write and present investment ideas on air with the depth of a Wall Street analyst and the accessibility of a skilled communicator.
• Produce differentiated written research in a high-intensity environment under tight deadlines.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of writing similar content at a major publication or working as a sell-side or buy-side research analyst.
• Knowledge of financial markets and investment strategies.
• Strong journalistic writing and research skills.
• Excellent oral communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-intensity environment and under tight deadline pressures.
• Collaborative approach to working with teams.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
