Senior Editor, Wall Street - CNBC

Location: Hybrid in New York, NY, with regular office attendance at least three days per week; CNBC headquarters and amenities are in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States is required.

Salary: USD 170,000–210,000 yearly.

What you will do

• Expand and manage CNBC’s Wall Street coverage of deals, finance, banking, brokers, asset managers, and private markets.
• Hire reporters, guide existing staff, and lead reporting teams delivering significant scoops.
• Launch an initiative focused on deals, dealmakers, and deal analysis linked to David Faber.
• Set reporting priorities and develop analytical stories about major financial events.
• Build strategies to engage readers and grow CNBC’s digital and television audiences.
• Coordinate television and digital coverage while leveraging the capabilities of both platforms.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience editing and managing for a major business publication.
• 3+ years of experience building and managing reporting teams that deliver significant scoops.
• Ability to edit complicated stories for a broad audience.
• Strong understanding of finance and deals, with the ability to prioritize coverage.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
