Enterprise Business Systems Lead (ERP)

What you will do

• Lead the legacy ERP and business application environment, including application inventory, ownership, dependencies, lifecycle status, and operational risk.
• Act as the business-facing escalation point for ERP, application, and process issues, coordinating resolution across sites, vendors, service management, and technical teams.
• Improve operational continuity through support procedures, escalation paths, runbooks, knowledge capture, cross-training, and backup coverage.
• Lead requirements gathering, process reviews, solution assessments, and documentation of workflows, system dependencies, and functional needs.
• Identify improvements to processes, controls, application use, and supportability across sites and business units.
• Support ERP transitions, acquisitions, divestitures, and other business changes through assessments, knowledge transfer, stabilization, and continuity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field; equivalent education and experience may be considered.
• Five or more years of experience supporting ERP systems, enterprise applications, or business systems environments.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or industrial operations.
• Experience with application support, complex issue escalation, root-cause analysis, business process analysis, requirements gathering, and operational documentation.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, site teams, vendors, and technical resources to resolve issues and improve system use.

Nice to have

• Multi-site manufacturing experience and knowledge of Epicor, SyteLine, Infor, Avante, or comparable manufacturing ERP platforms.
• Experience with ERP upgrades, migrations, consolidations, stabilization, or application assessments related to acquisitions and divestitures.
• Familiarity with reporting tools, workflow automation, Lean, Six Sigma, ITIL, or comparable improvement and service-management practices.
